Let us tell you a little bit about ourselves…
Go Girl Communications exists to help organizations communicate with clarity—especially during moments of growth, change, or increased visibility.
We’re a strategy-first consulting firm that works with leaders and teams to define their message, align their communication, and move forward with intention. Our work often begins before content is ever created—helping clients understand what needs to be said, why it matters, and how it should show up across their organization.
Founded in 2011 and rooted in the Chicagoland area, Go Girl Communications is known for thoughtful guidance, honest conversations, and long-term partnerships. We don’t believe in rushing clarity—or forcing momentum. We help clients build both, the right way.
Meet Our Founder
With a background in English and Communications from Ball State University, Patti Minglin has always been drawn to words—how they shape understanding, build trust, and move people to act.
After building a career in the publishing industry, Patti founded Go Girl Communications to help organizations move beyond surface-level messaging and communicate with greater clarity and intention. What began as a content-focused business has evolved into a strategy-led consulting firm, reflecting Patti’s belief that strong communication starts long before content is created.
As CEO of Go Girl Communications, Patti partners with business owners, leadership teams, and organizations navigating growth, change, or increased visibility. Her work focuses on clarifying messages, aligning teams, and helping leaders communicate in ways that feel grounded, confident, and human.
Deeply invested in her community and the development of women leaders, Patti serves on the Board of Directors for the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce (currently Chair-Elect) and Beautifully EmpowHERed, and participates in Naperville Community Unit School District 203 Workforce Innovation Council. She has also shared her voice from the stage through Listen to Your Mother Chicago, The People Tree, and The Moms Network on NCTV17.

We help organizations communicate more clearly and consistently—so their message feels aligned, confident, and easier to share.
That might look like refining your brand messaging, creating a content strategy, supporting ongoing content execution, or helping leaders show up more visibly and thoughtfully. Our work bridges strategy and action—so good ideas don’t stay stuck in a document.
-
We work with growth-minded businesses, organizations, and leaders—often in moments of transition.
Many of our clients are:
Business owners or leadership teams refining their brand or visibility
Organizations with a clear mission but inconsistent messaging
Teams that know what they want to say, but struggle to say it clearly or consistently
We work across industries, with a shared focus on clarity, trust, and long-term momentum.
-
We don’t start with volume, trends, or “post more” advice.
Our work prioritizes:
Thoughtful storytelling over noise
Alignment before execution
Relationships over quick wins
We focus on helping you communicate in a way that feels sustainable, human, and true to who you are—then build from there.
-
It starts with a conversation.
Our discovery process is designed to understand where you are, what you’re working toward, and whether we’re the right fit. From there, we’ll outline next steps clearly—no pressure, no guesswork.
-
That’s completely okay—and very common.
You don’t need perfect language or a polished plan to start. Our process is designed to meet you where you are, ask the right questions, and help you uncover what’s already there—then shape it into something clearer and more actionable.
-
Both.
Some clients come to us for focused strategy sessions or clarity work. Others partner with us on an ongoing basis for content, visibility, or leadership support. We’ll recommend the approach that best fits your goals, capacity, and timing—without overcomplicating it.
-
To keep our work thoughtful and hands-on, we intentionally limit how many new partnerships we begin at one time.
We typically onboard a small number of new clients each month, allowing us to stay present, responsive, and deeply invested in the work we’re doing together.
-
If you’re looking for overnight growth or guaranteed placements, we may not be the best match.
If you’re looking for clarity, consistency, and momentum that builds over time—through thoughtful communication and aligned action—we’re likely a very good fit.
